Mary Murray
We are delighted to have Mary Murray as our weekend dance teacher. Originally from Stirlingshire, Scotland, Mary has been active as a dancer and a teacher since her high school days and has danced on demonstration teams throughout Europe (Sicily, Germany, Belgium, and France as well as Edinburgh) before moving to Vancouver, Canada.
In Vancouver, Mary has been active in the Vancouver Branch of the Society at all levels of classes, directing the branch demonstration group, and conducting numerous teacher candidate courses. In addition, Mary has taught at various workshops and summer schools extensively throughout Canada and the U.S. as well as Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hawaii, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and the U. K. She taught at the annual RSCDS Summer School at St. Andrews as well as the RSDCS Winter School in Pitlochry, Perthshire.
We are indeed fortunate to have such a versatile and highly acclaimed teacher for our Capital Weekend!!
